To maximize every space in the farm,
you can plant compatible trees in between major crops.
Carabao mangoes can be distanced at 12 x 12 meters. In
between, you can plant Magallanes Davao pummelo. As per
experience, if you will earn P1,000 per tree from
Carabao mango, and P3,000 to P5,000 per Magallanes Davao
pummelo tree.
Coconut trees in Southern Luzon can
be intercropped with lanzones, durian, rambutan and
mangosteen. These cultivars need shades. They can also
be planted in between big mango trees.
